Monique Lhuillier is the featured designer at the annual 2009 Symphony Spring Fashion Show, taking place on Tuesday, April 21, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville Tenn. I’m sure there may be some NY brides who are from Nashville – I’m happy to be able to share information about this wonderful event with you.
Well-known for her gorgeous bridal designs and for her stylish line of eveningwear, she will be presenting her new fall line at this event. The fall collection was very much inspired by Ballet Russe – lots of fluid lines, sheer fabrics and luxurious textures, one over another. It’s all about the detail; it’s opulent, but in a quiet and subtle way. In other words this collection is Elegant, Modern, Sophisticated.
Hosted by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra League, the Symphony Spring Fashion show is being presented by Lhuillier and Gus Mayer, a luxury designer clothing store in Nashville. The April 21 event begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by the fashion show at 7:15 p.m. and dinner at 8:15 p.m. The 2009 event chairs are Lake Eakin and Lee Ann Ingram.
All proceeds from the Symphony Spring Fashion Show will benefit the Nashville Symphony and the Thor Johnson Scholarship Fund. For more information about the Nashville Symphony Spring Fashion Show, please visit www.nashvillesymphony.org.
