Happy Easter or Passover to you who celebrate.
You know I usually post events on Saturday, but this is a special weekend and there are some events that start tomorrow, that I wanted to remind you about.
Finding new experiences for you is one of the things I love to do. Recently I came across “Cupcakes and Tea at the Ritz”. Sure enough it was an amazing treat. If you have the opportunity you can take a break from shopping, your Easter bonnet stroll down 5th Avenue, or celebrating Passover or Easter this weekend, try it. For $25 dollars you get your choice of tea (or non-alcoholic drink) and a selection of 5…yes 5-gourmet cupcakes. Did I hear you say yummmm? To make reservations, call the Star Lounge at the Ritz hotel, 212.521.6125. It’s not a ‘proper tea’, but a sweet break every weekend from now until June 28.
Now Ladies and yes you too Gents, if you are loving your wedding planning and think you would like to do this as either a full-time or part-time job, I have just been sent some interesting information from a great company. ‘So...You Want to Be a Wedding Planner’, is a one-day seminar taking place on Saturday, May 2 designed to train those interested in becoming a wedding planner. It covers all the topics including vendor research, wedding etiquette, business development and so much more. You’ll receive a complete course manual and receive a letter of achievement at the days end. While there are courses that will certify you as a wedding planner, I think this is a great way to ‘test the waters’.
