Celebrity stylist Charles Baker Strahan and Herbal Essences to the rescue

Herbal Essences Tousle Gel
Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly

Yesterday I heard you all singing “The sun will come out tomorrow...” Well, it’s looking like it may but, by the end of the week it could be sweltering. The weather is just not cooperating with those of us who are vain, about our hair. Knowing that we are truly in the height of wedding-hair season, I went back to celebrity stylist Charles Baker Strahan to ask if he had any additional advice.

He suggested that there are more ways to have beautiful wedding hair than an updo or something fussy. When the weather is as unstable as it is now or if you are planning a destination wedding, you should go for a look that is touchable and soft. There is something to be said about tousled tresses just begging to be touched. So why not go for it?

How?

1 – Prep your hair by washing it in Tousle Me Softly Shampoo and Conditioner by Herbal Essences.

2 – Deepening on your particular hair type, apply either mousse or spray gel on damp hair. If you have fine hair use the mousse and if you have frizzy hair or just want a bit more conditioning (you know tame those ends).

3 – Once you apply the product use a wide-tooth comb and don’t forget to lean your head to create volume in the middle and bottom sections of your hair. If you want a bit more curl, you can use a flat iron around 2” sections of your hair like a curling iron and hold for 5 seconds and release.

4 – This is the best part – Tousle, tousle, finger and fluff away. Don’t worry if every curl isn’t in perfect place it’s not supposed to be. You can finish off the look with hairspray to provide a light, flexible hold.

He assures me that your hair will be wonderfully touchable, and yes, picture perfect. So why not give this a try? For more information on getting and maintaining touchable hair, visit www.herbalessences.com
