Amsale and Disney partner because "When in Rome"...

There are so many great relationship movies slated for 2010 with “Leap Year” starting the year off right. Like many of you – especially if you’re engaged, you will be looking at some of these movies and checking out the wedding gowns the female lead will be in. Getting ideas for yourself and your bridal party. Remember Carrie Sex and the City®, the movie? I know, I was right along with most of you dreaming what it would be like to try on those gowns.

Well, I’ve just heard that New York based designer Amsale's couture bridal gowns and bridesmaid's dresses, are showcased throughout the upcoming Disney's new film "When In Rome" staring Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel. The featured bridal gowns are from the Kenneth Pool and Amsale collections but I can't tell you who wears what because that would spoil the surprise! I can tell you that they are beyond breath-taking.

Over the years, Amsale Aberra has become the couture designer of choice for numerous films and television shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, The Hangover, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and many more. It seems now that word is spreading like wildfire through Hollywood. Why does she think her gowns are such a natural fit for the stage and screen? “I think that my gowns naturally lend themselves to telling a story. They all have an element of fantasy to them, which is so important for Hollywood, but at the same time they are believable. They are modern classics that make sense for real brides to wear,” says Amsale.
